Learn How To Prevent Pain and Injury With Stretching

Greetings Club Julian Members,

Our Wellness Wednesday events are held every month and we want to remind you that you are invited to attend them for FREE. Join us at Club Julian on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 (from 1-2pm) for an informative seminar that will focus on The Importance of Stretching To Avoid Injury.

Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. This seminar, presented by Craig Maartmann-Moe, DPT, MS, CSCS from UPMC Centers for Rehab Services, will help you learn the best and most effective stretches for pain-free, healthy movement and to avoid injury in your daily life.
