Exercise And COPD - It Can Make A Big Difference

Greetings Club Julian Members,

Our Wellness Wednesday events are held every month and we want to remind you that you are invited to attend them for FREE. So bring a friend and join us at Club Julian on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 (from 1-2pm) for an informative presentation that will focus on COPD And The Benefits Of Exercise.

Exercise itself cannot reverse COPD, but it can change the way you feel, breathe, and function. If you or someone you love is dealing with COPD, physical activity can help reverse the effects of progressive de-conditioning, which is losing overall fitness from lack of exercise. It can also help you to be less short of breath.

COPD And The Benefits of Exercise Seminar

Presented by Dr. Thomas Lee Schauble, MD, from Critical Care, Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease of UPMC Passavant, this interactive seminar will discuss what COPD is, safe exercises that you can do, how to strengthen your lungs with breathing exercises and the best medicine and medical devices for different stages of this condition.

When it comes to maintaining optimum health, Club Julian encourages you to be proactive and have an improved quality of life! Today is the day you can begin to make healthy changes and learn more by joining us for this informative event.

This event is one of many great reasons to visit Club Julian in April. Call
412-366-1931 to reserve your space
