Exercise and Energy: We don't burn calories the same way

Greetings Club Julian Members,

Our Wellness Wednesday Events are held every month and we want to remind you that you're invited to attend them for FREE. Join us on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 (from 1-2pm) for an informative seminar focusing on Exercise and The Cost of Energy.

Join Craig Maartmann-Moe, DPT, MS, CSCS from UPMC Centers for Rehab Services, as he explains why our bodies use calories differently based on our diets, metabolism and genetics. He will help you discover the best way for you to get the most benefit from your workout routine.

We don’t all burn calories the same way and there are many influences that determine the amount of energy needed for certain activities, including age, gender, activity levels, exercise duration, body compositon, movement efficiency and more.
